America 250 program on Gov. Meshech Weare

You are invited!

Thursday April 23 at 6pm for an "America 250" lecture on NH's very first governor, Gov. Meshech Weare, by NH scholars Rodney Obien & Brian Burford at the Exeter Public Library, 3rd floor.

• The library and the DAR co-host this free event in honor of "America 250"
• Two NH scholars/archivists, Brian Burford and Rodney Obien, will present a 45 min power point, with a 15 min Q&A, on Gov Weare and the 250th. Their website is MeshechWearePapers.org
• Following the presentation will be a very brief break, and then a short (15 minute) transcription workshop for those who stay.
• The DAR will wear colonial garb and provide light snacks and drinks.
