• DUI arrests made in Exeter (newportdispatch.com) — Emergency crews in Exeter responded to a serious motorcycle crash on Kingston Road, where a Massachusetts rider suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. While investigating, police arrested two friends of the rider on DUI charges, and say speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash, which remains under investigation.    

• Man With Warrants Chased Through Bow, Concord: New Hampshire State Police Roundup (patch.com) — Recent New Hampshire State Police logs show two May 17 arrests in Exeter, including a disorderly conduct case and a separate incident involving alleged reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and DUI-related charges. The broader roundup details a Goffstown man’s chase through Bow and Concord plus numerous DUI, assault, and other arrests across the state.    

• Jackson Hooper, Benten Lyford voted Seacoast Athletes of the Week (seacoastonline.com) — Two Seacoast high school standouts, Portsmouth baseball player Jackson Hooper and Winnacunnet lacrosse goalie Benten Lyford, have been voted Athletes of the Week. Exeter athletes appear prominently among past winners and recent nominees, and Exeter’s baseball and lacrosse teams figure into the highlighted playoff performances that earned these players the honor.
