The Stratham Historical Society recently announced the recipients of the 2026 Winfield L. Foote Award for Academic Excellence. The award this year was presented to ten outstanding applicants, all graduating seniors. They are as follows:

Michael Burke, Stratham resident
Maxwell DeKoning, Stratham
Elaina Villaflores of Exeter
Alp Matoglu, a Stratham resident
Lauren LaFleur, Stratham
Isabelle Madden, Stratham
Austin Reeve, Stratham
Elizabeth DeLello, Stratham
Congratulations to all ten of these very deserving students. The Stratham Historical Society is gratified to support their academic achievements in 2026 and wishes them the very best in their next chapter, all attending colleges in the fall.
With this year's awards, the society will have distributed over $160,000 to local students. Special thanks to the SHS Scholarship Committee Chair Gary Abreu and the entire committee for its hard work and outstanding results.
