• Exeter roundabout opening delayed; detours and school‑day safety measures in effect (seacoastonline.com) — Expect continued detours around Front, Linden, and Pine streets as Exeter's new roundabout opening is pushed to Thursday, Sept. 3 due to a concrete shipment delay. With SAU 16 back in session, the town has adjusted traffic patterns, temporarily made Gill Street two‑way, and is urging drivers—especially during school hours—to slow down and follow posted routes.
   

• Exeter boys soccer shuts out Dover in Seacoast battle to begin season (seacoastonline.com) — Exeter High School's boys soccer team opened its season with a confident 3-0 road win over Dover, highlighted by an early goal from Henri Morrison and a shutout by keeper Reid LaBroad. Players and coaches on both sides called it an encouraging benchmark, with Exeter pleased by its finishing and defensive shape heading into the rest of the Division I schedule.
