• Swatting incident prompts shelter-in-place at school in Exeter (newportdispatch.com) — A telephoned threat forced Phillips Exeter Academy into a shelter-in-place Thursday afternoon while Exeter police and multiple nearby departments swarmed the campus. Investigators later determined the call was an overseas swatting hoax using a stolen Google account, found no credible danger, and lifted the shelter order just after 5 p.m., though the case remains under investigation.

Field Hockey: Keene High pushes shutout streak to 7 (keenesentinel.com) — Keene High's field hockey team extended its shutout streak to seven games with a 3-0 win over Timberlane, climbing to second in Division I. The Blackbirds now hit the road for three straight, starting Monday with a visit to Exeter, giving local fans a chance to see a top defense in action close to home.
