Author David Finkel to speak in Exeter on Veterans

Exeter’s We The People Lecture Series presents David Finkel, a Pulitzer Prize–winning staff writer for The Washington Post, is the author of two of the most important books to come out of the Iraq War: The Good Soldiers (2009), which chronicles the experiences of a U.S. Army infantry battalion deployed to Baghdad during the 2007 surge, and Thank You for Your Service (2013), which follows the same group of men as they return home to America and face the challenges of returning to civilian life.
