Atlantic Green Energy Hosts Open House For Solar Savings Demonstrations
Atlantic Green Energy is holding an open house to demonstrate alternative energy systems to all "green-minded" people

By Austin Sorette
Have you ever been curious about the proper way to approach a sustainable solar energy system? Atlantic Green Energy has the answer you've been looking for! On October 27th, AGE will be hosting an open house in which they will have ongoing demonstrations of some of the “green” technologies that will save you money while also save the planet.
Atlantic Green Energy is an alternative energy provider that specializes in everything from small-scale green retrofitting materials to full Solar (PV) projects. Starting out in 2009, owners George Hurley and Jack Haritas saw the construction industry was diminishing as a result of the recession. They wanted to create a business that would help people reduce their energy costs while reducing the amount of energy used in order for their customers to operate on a more sustainable level. The company has, since, adopted a motto that people who are still skeptical about switching to alternative energy might find more reassuring: Go Green Gradually.

Atlantic Green Energy then caught the attention of the Green Alliance, a local green business union that specializes in promoting local businesses who are environmentally conscious, and also offers a wide variety of discounted green products and services to their card-carrying members. The Green Alliance was enthused with Atlantic Green Energy's mission and began recommending the business to people who were looking to start using “green” energy systems.
George Horrocks, one of six people in New Hampshire who is certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, will be leading a discussion on the “Introduction to Solar Savings”. Horrocks will discuss ways in which using green energy will not only save you money on energy costs, but how it will help save our planet as well.

Also attending the event is Paul Button from Energy Audits Unlimited. He will be available to answer any questions regarding course and training in Weatherization and Energy Auditing. This will give any aspiring green technicians an opportunity to be educated in the science behind modern “green” technologies. Anyone is welcome to attend the open house and refreshments and coffee will be served throughout the event.
The event will take place at the Atlantic Green Energy Office at 255 Lafayette Road in Seabrook, NH from 9 am – 3 pm, don't miss out on this rare opportunity!
