Children’s Museum Summer Fundraising Bash
One of the Green Alliance's busniess partners, the Children's Museum of NH, is putting on an incredible summer fundraiser event, don't miss out!

It’s no surprise that the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is planning yet another incredible event to their already long list of summer activities. For those unfamiliar with the Museum’s reputation for providing hands-on learning opportunities for families through a variety of subjects, programs, performances and workshops, on August 15th, the Museum will be hosting its first ever Fundraising Bash.
This event will take place at One Harbour Place in Portsmouth from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
This fundraiser will support the Children’s Museum of NH, with all of the proceeds benefiting critical programs for underserved communities and schools. In addition, these funds will help support the museum’s year-round family events, activities and workshops.

This exciting underwater- themed summer night will be filled with unforgettable activities, held outdoors under a large tent. Music will be playing through the night with plenty of (srongly-encouraged) dancing opportunities.
There will also be an open bar along with delicious food from local restaurants including Brazo, Demeters Steakhouse, Jumpin’ Jays, Moxy, Gifford’s Ice Cream and many more. Valet parking will be provided as well.

Many generous supporters have offered one-of-a-kind items for the Museum’s silent and live auctions, which will be held throughout the evening. A few of the many donations include a private plane ride in a 1947 Piper Cub, four tickets to a Red Sox-Yankees game at Fenway Park, a “Kayaks and Cocktails” evening hosted by board members from New Castle, a one-week stay at a three-bedroom condo in Naples, FL, a one-week stay in at Sugarbush in Maine, and a private boat ride and lunch at Morrison’s.
It took an impressive amount of dedication and effort from local business leaders -- Tod O’Dowd of Avery Insurance, Eric Gregg of Four Tree Island Advisory LLC, Carolyn Cloutier of Construction Services of New Hampshire, Joan Marchessault of Strategic Leadership Consulting, Tyler Kelly of New Hampshire Distributors, and Leslie Barbini of The Party Bell—and the Children’s Museum of NH to plan this wonderful event.
Many more local businesses will be offering their services for this special night, including: Four Tree Island Advisory LCC, New Hampshire Distributors, Sperry Tents, The Party Belle, Brazo, Demeters Steakhouse, Gifford’s Ice Cream, Jumpin’ Jay’s Fish Café, Moxy, Two International Group, Vital Design, and ACS Parking Services.
Aside from organizing great events for the community, the Children’s Museum of NH is also a Green Alliance business. The first New Hampshire museum ever to be LEED certified, the Children’s Museum touts a number of unique green initiatives and programs, including the harvesting of rainwater, a comprehensive recycling program for guests, a high-efficiency HVAC system, as well as non-toxic materials throughout the building. Meanwhile, their Earth Day and Eat Local events, along with other programs, help educate families on the virtues of sustainability.
