The Congregational Church in Exeter, UCC, located at 21 Front Street in Exeter will spend the summer renovating its historic sanctuary.  In addition to a new stage-like platform at the front with enhanced audio/visual capabilities, the worship area will also be freshened with new chocolate-brown carpets and pew pads and a fresh coat of tan paint. The single-file aisle will also be widened to current building code.

The construction will continue all summer, and is overseen by architect Lynne Monroe of The Preservation Company. (www.preservationcompany.com) and Master Carpenter Larry Haas. Pictures are uploaded to the church's Facebook site on a weekly basis. Follow along!

Summer worship service will be held in the main level vestry at 9:30 am on Sundays, until after Labor Day weekend.

The entire church is working hard during this phase between settled pastors. We are currently being led by Intentional Interim UCC pastor Rev. Christine S. Boardman. Pastor Christine is highly experienced with transitioning churches. She will stay here with us until a new pastor is selected by the Pastoral Search Committee and called next spring by congregational vote.

It is a very exciting time for us here at The Congregational Church in Exeter, UCC. If you are looking for a new church, we wish to invite you to come see the changes we are going through as we position ourselves for a bright and sustainable future!
