Hassan Names Outreach Teams

Getting down to business.

Gov.-elect Maggie Hassan just unveiled three outreach teams to transition her office toward fulfilling campaign promises on innovation and a balanced state budget.

They are: Budget, Business Outreach and Office Administration.

More players could be named later. In today's announcement, the lineup looks like this:

Business Outreach team: Sean O'Kane, a co-chairman of the transition team; former Department of Resources and Economic Development Commissioner George Bald; Zenagui Brahim, executive director of the New Hampshire Manufacturing Extension Partnership; and Gray Chynoweth, COO of Dyn.

Budget Transition Outreach team: former state Sen. and transition co-chair Kathy Sgambati; John Beardmore, director of administration for the Department of Safety and budget director for Governor Lynch; John Wallace, retired associate commissioner of the Department of Health and Human Services; and Joseph Bouchard, assistant commissioner of Administrative Services.

Office Administration team: Alice Chamberlin, former special assistant to Governor Lynch for national resources, energy and transportation policy; Jennifer Frizzell, former Senate Policy Director and adviser to Planned Parenthood of Northern New England; Steve Gordon, an attorney and director at Shaheen & Gordon; and Michael Vlacich, former director of the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development and state director for U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.
