A great part of the walk is seeing all the different breeds of dogs that come. They are all there, because they care about their fellow animals and want to help. This event raises funds that help care for the nearly 3000 animals that will turn to the NHSPCA for a second chance at a new home.
And as for the idea that shelter animals are somehow broken or not as good, let me tell you, we have great dogs available here at the New Hampshire SPCA. I adopted my Cosmo, a Tibetan Terrier Mix, and he is simply perfect! If you are interested in pure breeds, watch our website, we get them frequently, puppies too!
