UPDATED: Brush Fire Reported on Route 101

Fire and rescue teams were sent to the westbound side of the highway in Exeter; traffic is now cleared from the area.

Fire and rescue teams were sent to the westbound side of Route 101 near Exit 11 for a report of a brush fire in Exeter, according to reports on Twitter and Facebook.

The fire was reported at around 12:30 p.m. Exeter teams were sent to extinguish a 30 by 200 foot area that was burning. An engine and tanker with manpower were requested. Stratham Fire was sent to Exeter to cover for the team, according to reports.
