Casting Call Saturday For 'The Mind's Eye' Film

Calling all actors!

There will be an audition for student filmmaker Gwen Wilson's production, "The Mind's Eye," Saturday at Swasey Parkway.

Wilson, who graduated from Exeter High School last month, helped produce a music video by rhythm and blues star Usher after she was selected from a nationwide contest. She runs Golden Seed Productions.

Five roles will be cast for her short film:

• A mother age 30-50
• A father age 30-50
• "Amanda," a girl age 17-19
• "Justin," a boy age 14-16
• "Taylor," a girl age 11-14

The film will be shot July 16-17 and 23-24. Compensation for those selected for the roles is up to $50 a day.

The film is roughly eight minutes long and features no speaking parts.
