New Hampshire Destination ImagiNation is a non-profit organization for students that fosters innovation, teamwork, and creative problem solving.
Six 7th-grade Cooperative Middle School students – “Hat Madness 5” – accepted a challenge to create their own movie trailer, featuring fabulous props, cinematic special effects, and an original musical soundtrack.

After six months of teamwork, the boys earned 1st place in a Destination ImagiNation Regional tournament, 2nd place at the state level, and now have the honor of representing New Hampshire at the "Global Finals" in Knoxville, Tennessee May 23-26, where they’ll compete against teams from all 50 states and 30 foreign countries.
The team is hard at work raising money to cover the travel and accommodation costs.

To help, Margaritas in Exeter is holding a special fundraiser May 14 from 4 to 10 p.m. Fifteen percent of the dinner bills will go to help the students pay for their trip.
