Fourteen-year-old Connor Ball was remembered as a loyal big brother, an athlete, and an aspiring filmmaker, according to his obituary.
Ball, an freshman, was found dead in a Brentwood residence earlier this week. Police said the cause of death was likely "self-inflicted harm."
A candlelight vigil will be held in his memory Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Pilgrim United Church of Christ (197 Middle Rd., Brentwood).

Connor was a Boy Scout in Troop 322, based in Exeter. He was one step away from being an Eagle Scout.
He played baseball and hockey and enjoyed traveling. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and traveled to 21 Major League Baseball ballparks.
He was loyal to his brother, Drew, and had a keen sense of humor, according to the obituary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Jimmy Fund.
