BRENTWOOD, NH — Two elderly women were injured in a crash that closed down Route 125 in Brentwood for a number of hours on Saturday night, according to police. Brentwood Police and Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the area of 313 Route 125 at just before 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2017, for a report of a single-vehicle crash into a utility pole. The crash, police noted, knocked out power in the community.

Both the 69-year-old woman driving and her 77-year-old passenger – both of Haverhill, MA – were transported to Exeter Hospital with injuries.

The roadway was closed and traffic re-routed for “several hours” during the investigation and utility pole repair. The Brentwood Police were assisted by several mutual aid agencies along with the Brentwood Highway Department.
