
Crisis counselors have been made available for the school community following the of an Exeter High School student.
The 16-year-old boy died this week at his home on McKinley Street. Police ruled out foul play. They have not released the cause of death or the boy's name.
Police were called to the home Tuesday shortly after 11 a.m. for a report of an unconscious subject. They are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of his death.

School officials on Tuesday notified parents of the student's death through an alert system.

On September 1 1, 2012 at 11:08 am the Exeter Police Department and Fire Department responded to McKinley Street for an unconscious male. Emergency responders located a 16 year old male that had died in the home. Police department investigators were on the scene until approximately 8:00 pm conducting a follow up investigation. The investigation although on-going has ruled out any foul play in the death.
The police department was in contact with Exeter School officials due to the fact that the young man was a student at Exeter High School. School officials have put into place their crisis team to help deal with students and faculty members in this situation.
