Sugar & Ice 2, a shop in downtown Exeter that featured candy, crepes, and ice cream, recently closed its doors.
"Thank you for supporting Sugar & Ice Creamery throughout the past year," read a note posted on the front door by owner Uli Emmerling. "It has been a great pleasure to meet you and be part of the community."
The business was located at 85 Water Street across from the bandstand.
Emmerling runs another shop in Barrington, which remains open. She said in the note that she wants to concentrate on that location.
Her old Exeter storefront was listed for lease.
