Drunk Driver Crashes Into Police Cruiser
No one was injured in the accident on Friday night.

A Hampstead man was charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing into a police cruiser on Friday night.
Around 6:05 p.m. Friday, state police responded to the parking lot of the 7-Eleven on Route 107 in Raymond for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a Raymond police cruiser.
The investigation determined that Officer Sean Benoit of the Raymond Police Department was seated in his cruiser in the parking lot of the store completing an investigation of an unrelated motor vehicle accident that had occurred just minutes earlier.
Myles Edwards, 25, of Hampstead had just purchased a six-pack of beer at the store, and as he was was backing out of a parking spot, his vehicle collided with the parked cruiser. Neither Edwards nor the officer were injured, but the investigation determined that Edwards was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Edwards was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear on Dec. 11 in Candia District Court.
