Emergency Parking Ban Issued For Exeter Due To Upcoming Snowstorm

A town-wide emergency parking ban will be in effect beginning at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, and will run through Tuesday morning.

EXETER, NH — The town of Exeter is closely monitoring an approaching winter storm expected to impact the area beginning Sunday, Jan. 25.

Current forecasts predict significant snowfall (+/- 1 foot) and hazardous travel conditions.

To allow Public Works crews to safely and efficiently plow and treat roadways, and in accordance with Exeter Town Ordinance 102.6 Snow Emergency, a town-wide emergency parking ban will be in effect beginning at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, and will remain in effect through Tuesday morning, 6 a.m. on Jan. 27.

All vehicles must be removed from public streets during the emergency parking ban.

Vehicles left on the roadway may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Updates will be shared on the town website and on the police and town social media channels if changes are necessary.
