NEWMARKET — Members of the 8th Grade from Newmarket Junior-Senior High School are holding a penny sale fundraiser on Saturday, March 31 in the school cafeteria. Viewing of the prizes starts at 4 p.m. and drawings begin at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are a penny a piece and purchased in books of 500 for $5.
A sampling of items from local businesses includes gift certificates for oil changes, car washes, restaurants, flowers, children toys, pizzas and more.
This is a fundraiser to raise money for the Washington, DC class trip scholarship fund. Donations are still being accepted contact John Bridle at the High School, 659-3271.
Tickets will be available at the school beginning Wednesday, March 21st, during school hours or at the door.
