'Flow for Kids' Yoga Fundraiser

Seacoast Power Yoga will host
a full 2-hour yoga class ‘Flow for Kids’ on Sunday, June 24, from 9:30-11:30.
The class is for all levels of experience and abilities with Seacoast Power
Yoga instructors. Class fee is $25, registration after 6/17, $35. Additional
donations are welcomed and appreciated! All proceeds will fund Seacoast
children to attend a summer camp session at YMCA Camp Lincoln.

Tara Whitney, owner of
Seacoast Power Yoga, sees the benefit of summer camp in her own children. “As I
sign my kids up for summer camp, I look around and see the need within my own
community,” says Whitney. “I want to help other children who would otherwise
not be able to afford the benefits of camp.” Whitney understands the connection
between active, healthy kids and a productive, inspired community.

Seacoast Power Yoga, like
YMCA Camp Lincoln, has a mission to build and connect a healthy mind, body and
spirit. Through the breath and flow of yoga, every individual is empowered to
grow stronger - in body, in self-assurance, and in community connections.  Through nurturing and respectful mentoring at
summer camp, youth enjoy the fresh outdoors while learning new skills, making
new friends, and growing in confidence. Seacoast Power Yoga and YMCA Camp
Lincoln are exercising the power of community to benefit kids who desire and
need a summer camp experience but cannot afford one.
