President Theodore Roosevelt's efforts to broker the end of the Russo-Japanese War during peace talks in Portsmouth in 1905 will be subject of a forum in Exeter tomorrow.
The free event will be hosted by Charles Doleac at the Exeter Historical Society at 7 p.m.
Doleac is the founder of the Portsmouth Peace Treaty Forum. He will talk about Roosevelt's role in the tense negotiations, which earned him a Noble Peace Prize.
