Three Notch Century Bike Event

SeaCare Health Services is recruiting cyclists to join its team for the Three Notch Century cycling challenge.  The 100-mile ride will begin and end at the North Conway Grand Hotel in North Conway on Saturday, September 8th.  Participants will complete the ride in one day as an individual or relay team and conquer the notches: Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch and the Kancamagus Highway.  In addition to the 100-mile route, the event organizers have added a 40-mile route.  There is a $150 registration fee for the 100-mile ride and $75 for the 40-mile ride.  Participants may fund-raise the registration fee.   The fee will go directly to the organizers of the event, Northeast Passage, which is a non-profit adaptive sports program in Durham.  Any money raised above the registration fee will be donated to SeaCare.  The event includes a t-shirt, check points with snacks and beverages, and a post-event meal.

To ride with Team SeaCare, please e-mail Erika Lee at elee@seacarehealthservices.org or register on-line at www.firstgiving.com/seacare.  Register early by July 6st for a chance to earn a Team SeaCare cycling jersey.  SeaCare is a nonprofit organization providing assistance to people that cannot afford health insurance.   For additional information, please call 603-772-8119 x108 or visit www.SeaCareHealthServices.org.
