Yoga for Athletes - Weekly Series

Competitive and recreational sports can leave your body tight--especially if you don't stretch properly or long enough. In this YOGA for ATHLETES weekly class, Jolie will help you get into the tight spots that cycling, running, lifting, swimming, etc., leave behind: hip flexors/psoas, hamstrings, glutes, shoulders, abs/back and more! Yoga can be the perfect complement to your athletic endeavors.


This is not intense, athletic yoga.  Rather, the postures are carefully selected and instructed in a way to counterbalance your training. In this workshop, you can expect to work on strength, balance, core, flexibility, and restorative postures.  Great for athletes of all levels and styles, including yogis who want better balance, more flexibility, and a stronger core.


Even if you don't consider yourself an "athlete," the slower flow sequence and longer holds in postures will still provide ample rewards and will benefit you on and off the mat.

Bring your sense of adventure and leave with tools to help you Increase core strength & flexibility, restore muscular balance, reduce risk of injury, enhance recovery, improve performance.  Yoga experience helpful but not required.
