Come see where it all started!
In 1638, Rev. Wheelwright founded the Congregational Church in Exeter, as well as the town of Exeter NH, after he was banned from Massachusetts. The current building is the third structure, built in 1798. Many historic events have taken place in the church, featuring such names as Abraham Lincoln, Daniel Webster, Amos Tuck and more. Join us at this event as history comes to life, accompanied by musical selections and interesting historical photos from the various eras.
