A 5K road race will be held in Exeter next month.
The "Get Fit in May 5K" will be held Sat., May 18 at the Lincoln Street School. All proceeds from the event will support the Exeter Elementary PTO. You can register for the event here.
The event began in 1999 with the support of founding sponsor Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics. The race is USATF-certified.

The race will also feature a health and wellness fair with a bunch of local vendors. There will also be live music, a rock climbing wall, demonstrations, food vendors and several other health-themed activities.
"We look forward to this event each year," said Eric Cimon, of Access Sports Medicine. "With a focus on health and wellness and the participation of hundreds children and families, there is a really positive energy surrounding the day’s festivities. We are proud to be the founding sponsor and to have had the opportunity to continue to support the Exeter PTO."
