Exeter Adult Education and the Amoskeag Sail and Power Squadron is offering this boating education class that will put the successful student in compliance with the NH requirement to hold a boating certificate. Anyone who operates a boat on NH waters with more than 25 horsepower is obligated to complete this course or a similar course authorized by the NH Division of Safety. Topics include mandatory and recommended equipment, rules of the road, NH specific rules and basic seamanship. Course is also of value to boaters who operate with less than 26 horsepower including paddle boaters.
Class will begin Tuesday, March 4 and meet for 5 weeks, from 6-8pm, at 30 Linden Street, entrance D.
Class fee is $50 per single/$70 per couple. Includes the book.
