Exeter Area Firefighters Toy Bank

The Exeter Chapter of the Seacoast Area Firefighters Toy Bank Program for 2013 is now underway.  Our goal is to provide Christmas gifts to as many children as possible.  Last year the Exeter Fire Department was able to deliver smiles and excitement to several Exeter area children.  This whole program would not be possible without the generosity of the people of Exeter and the Seacoast.

You can drop off your new unwrapped toys at the following Exeter locations:

(The Holiday Parade Route is Portsmouth Ave to Water St.)

Here are some suggestions on how you can help:

v  Take a tag off a giving tree that has a special request from the children on them. Please return gift to either the location you picked it up at or the Exeter Fire Department by December 13th.

v  If you manufacture, distribute or sell items that could be appropriate as gifts, you might consider donating some excess items.

v  Donate paper, tape or tags for wrapping

v  Homemade hats, mittens and scarves are always appreciated.

v  Donate non perishable food items

v  If you don’t know what to get or don’t have the time to go shopping, a monetary donation to help purchase special request items, wrapping supplies or offset the cost of the Toy Bank Program would be greatly appreciated.

If you would like more information, please call Susan Baillargeon, Jason Fritz or Shana Clark at the Fire Department Toy Drive Hotline 773-6131.

The Exeter Fire Department is looking forward to working with you to ensure that no child in need goes without a present this Christmas.
