Exeter-Area Schools Closed Friday

School officials canceled classes due to snow.

All Exeter-area schools are closed Friday because of heavy snow.

School officials called off classes early Friday morning after an overnight snowfall coated roads.

Exeter is in School Administrative Unit 16, which also includes Newfields, Stratham, Brentwood, East Kingston, and Kensington.

The snow will continue through the morning and could turn to rain in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Things are expected to clear up after 1 p.m.
