Exeter Chief Says He Knows Who Was Behind Tammy Belanger's Disappearance

Exeter's police chief says he knows who was behind the disappearance of Tammy Belanger, who has been missing for nearly 30 years.

In 1984, when Belanger was 8 years old, she went missing while walking to the Lincoln Street School.

No one has been arrested in connection with her disappearance.

Police Chief Richard Kane told WMUR-TV he believes Victor Wonyetye, a Florida sex offender who died last year, was behind Belanger's disappearance.

Before he died, Wonyetye denied he had anything to do with Belanger's disappearance.

Kane urged anyone with information on the case to come forward.
