Exeter's police chief says he knows who was behind the disappearance of Tammy Belanger, who has been missing for nearly 30 years.

In 1984, when Belanger was 8 years old, she went missing while walking to the Lincoln Street School.

No one has been arrested in connection with her disappearance.

Police Chief Richard Kane told WMUR-TV he believes Victor Wonyetye, a Florida sex offender who died last year, was behind Belanger's disappearance.
