
Exeter High School students are mourning the loss of a fellow student who was killed on Sept. 10, in a motor vehicle accident, according to WMUR-TV.
Emma Jacobs, 17, of East Atkinson, passed away on Sept. 10, after an accident on Route 111.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, Jacobs was driving a Volkswagen Jetta when she pulled onto Route 111 from Hall Farm Road in Atkinson. A Ford Explorer, being driven by a Hudson woman, struck the Jetta. Jacobs sustained fatal injuries from the crash. A passenger in the Jetta car and the driver of the Explorer were transported to Exeter Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.
At Exeter High School, students are taking the loss pretty hard, calling Jacobs a good friend who helped others. The students held a vigil for Jacobs before the school’s football game tonight.
