Exeter High's Harris Jams with Keith Urban
The 15-year-old bassist performed with the country musician on national television.
The excitement of playing with country music legend Keith Urban hasn't worn off on Exeter High School student Aubrey Harris.
"It was so cool to get to do that," said Harris, a 15-year-old sophomore. "I was jamming with Keith Urban."
Harris, a bassist, was one of several young musicians who played with Urban during Monday night's nationally televised American Country Awards, held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Harris said she was nervous, but any jitters weren't visible on stage. At one point, Urban was right up next to Harris as they jammed on their guitars.

"That was so cool," said Harris, who called the whole experience "surreal."
Their performance was meant to highlight to need for support programs for young musicians. They were given the opportunity to play through the GRAMMY Foundation.
Harris' first recording was recently released on "The Way You Look Tonight," a benefit record by Jennifer Porter.
Harris is also part of the New Hampshire Youth Jazz Ensemble through the Manchester Community Music School.
Harris said she hopes to attend a school like the Berklee College of Music to pursue her music career.
