Exeter Kids Raise Money For Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

On Saturday, the kids raised $700 for the Red Cross and Houston SPCA.

EXETER, NH — Due to the current events and tragedy of Hurricane Harvey that hit the Houston region of Texas, local children from a neighborhood in Exeter were inspired to hold a fundraiser to help those impacted by the devastation. The ensuing fundraiser contained creations of artwork, rainbow loom bracelets, baked goods, and lemonade. These children gathered early Saturday morning through late afternoon cheering and soliciting support by the community which resulted in a total of $700 to be split between the Red Cross and Houston SPCA.
