Exeter Man Barred from Work in Securities Industry
Frederick V. McMenimen III was pled guilty last year to fraud, money laundering.

An Exeter man has been barred from ever being involved in the securities industry by the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to a report.
Frederick V. McMenimen III was barred from the business based on his criminal conviction from last year, while he was associated with a broker-dealer and investment adviser, in an action brought by the New Hampshire U.S. Attorney.
McMenimen worked at a Pruco office located in Portsmouth until he voluntarily resigned in 2011. FINRA permanently barred McMenimen from the securities industry in 2013. He pled guilty last year and on Feb. 11, 2015, he was sentenced to a prison term of 42 months on each count (to be served concurrently), followed by three years of supervised release and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,443,749.

In light of the information that came out in the case, the SEC took action against McMenimen on Oct. 16, 2015.
