Exeter Man Charged with Assault, Resisting Arrest

The following are excerpts from the Exeter police log. A charge does not indicate a conviction.

Sat., Sept. 14

• 3:18 a.m. Steven Hallinan, 33, of Epping, was charged with DWI—second offense. He was released on $5,000 bail.
• 7:32 a.m. Reckless driving was reported on Epping Road.
• 10:12 a.m. Harassment was reported on Downing Court.
• 10:37 p.m. Thomas Newton, 20, of Exeter, was charged with drug possession and possession of drugs in a vehicle. He was released on $750 bail.
• 11:08 p.m. Timothy White, 24, of Exeter, was charged with assault, criminal threatening, and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $2,500.
