Exeter Police Seek Tips About Alleged School Burglars

Breaking: Two men allegedly burglarized the Main Street Elementary School construction site on Aug. 19. Do you recognize them?

EXETER, NH — The Exeter Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two men who allegedly burglarized a construction site in town. Police allege that the men broke into the school at just before 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2017. The alleged burglars were caught on surveillance cameras entering the site, according to police.

On Monday morning, police were sent to the school and reportedly determined that the men had made it into the school and allegedly committed the burglary. “Several items of value were stolen,” according to police.

The Exeter Police encourages anyone who may have information to call Det. Joseph Saluto at 603-772-1212 or leave an anonymous tip with Seacoast Crimestoppers by texting TIPSCS to CRIMES (274637) or by making a phone call to 603-431- 1199. A possible reward of up to $1,000 cash for information leading to an arrest or conviction.
