Clement, Gilman Re-Elected Selectmen

They beat out Dennis Brady for the two open seats in Tuesday's election.

Incumbent Board of Selectmen members Don Clement and Julie Gilman were re-elected to their posts Tuesday.

The pair beat out challenger Dennis Brady for the two open seats on the board.

  • Julie Gilman: 1,114
  • Don Clement: 1,100
  • Dennis Brady: 909

Clement and Gilman said they were honored voters re-elected them. They will serve three-year terms.

"I'm elated," Clement said the polls at the Talbot Gym on Linden Street.

"It's exciting to win," Gilman said.

Brady congratulated the pair on the victory after the results were announced.

The pair said they have a lot of work to focus on coming months, including a possible utility agreement with Stratham and Exeter's 375th anniversary program.
