Exeter Sewer Main Break Causes Detours
A collapsed sewer main on High Street is requiring re-routed traffic around town for the next couple of weeks.

EXETER, NH — The town of Exeter has issued a new traffic plan and closed parts of High Street due to a sewer main break. The sewer main break was discovered on Sunday with sewage reportedly flowing from a manhole cover into the Exeter River.
The NH DES was notified about the sewage flowing into the river, according to WMUR-TV, but the situation was not deemed critical, according to the report.
