Exeter NH; Exeter's GBeCs Junior Jake Cray is pursuing life in the fast lane. While focusing on high school Jake is juggling part-time work and following his dreams of making a career in auto racing.
Jake is the 2013 Northeast Classic Lites touring series Rookie of the Year. Auto racing takes skill, dedication and also applies many fundamentals learned in high school. "I have been able to apply many leesons from High School and apply them in real life situations" said Cray. He adds, "Math sure is useful, but general problem solving and the tenacity to get the job done under deadlines has been important too". My time at GBeCs directly relates to my success in racing.
Jake is an entrant in the 2014 Champion Spark Plug "Search for a Champion" contest. He could use the community's support in the endeavor. Fans can vote daily through February 2nd for their favorite entry.
