Fallin' Back to School at Vernon Family Farm

NEWFIELDS__Come out to Fallin’ Back to School on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Vernon Family Farm and support the Newfields Elementary School.

The event will raise funds for the school’s All School Enrichment Fund. It kicks off at 4 p.m. with pumpkin carving, and White Wave Photography, family photos. The Paul Memorial Library will hold a children’s book reading from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy live music by the Macrotones, a 9-piece horn driven ensemble, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Food will be served with a community dinner and dessert prepared by Vernon Family Farm, the Newfields Country Store and Squamscott Vineyard and Winery.

Admission is $10 for adults and kids are free. All funds collected from admission will be donated to the school. The bar is by donation. Bring your own lawn chair and blanket.

Vernon Family Farm is located at 301 Piscassic Road in Newfields, where their farm store is open daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. for local food shopping.
