Free Lecture and Discussion Featuring Mark Fainaru-Wada,

ESPN Investigative Reporter and Author

at the Congregational Church in Exeter UCC, 21 Front Street.

Exeter NH: Award-winning author and investigator for the ESPN program “Outside the Lines” Mark Fainaru-Wada will present his lecture “The NFL and Brain Damage: Inside the Making of League of Denial” on Tuesday, October 6th at 7 PM at the Exeter Congregational Church. Fainaru-Wada, in collaboration with his brother, Steve Fainaru, is the author of the New York Times bestseller, League of Denial: The NFL, Concussions and the Battle for Truth. The companion documentary was nominated for an Emmy and Fainaru-Wada served on a team honored with a Peabody for reporting on concussions in the NFL.

The discussion is presented by We the People, a free lecture and film series exploring issues at the intersection of current events, ethics and religion. We the People is co-sponsored by the Congregational, Episcopal, and Unitarian Universalist churches of Exeter, in association with Phillips Exeter Academy and Water Street Bookstore. The talk will be held at the Congregational Church, 21 Front Street, Exeter NH. The venue is handicapped-accessible and on-site parking is available.
