Former Newmarket School Clerk, Penney Botterman Lied!

Newmarket School District’s crime spree, taking place over these past five years, which included lies to the New Hampshire Supreme Court, began with former School District Clerk, Penney Botterman.

According to Former Newmarket superintendent of schools, Meridedith Nadeau, and current school district Attorney Barbara Loughman, it was Penney Botterman who informed them the 2015 superintendent search committee never met, and that the 2015 superintendent screening committee had sealed the nonpublic meeting minutes of their meetings.

These statements by Botterman to Nadeau and Loughman were lies. The Search Committee did hold meetings and the screening committee did not seal any meeting minutes. To date, the lies told by Botterman have cost Newmarket taxpayers in excess of more than one hundred thousand dollars in legal fees spent defending these lies.

The carnage of Bottermans lies extend well beyond taxpayer dollars. Her lies have caused great harm to Newmarket’s reputation, public education, and our courts.

Botterman did not act alone. Al Zink also lied regarding the search committee meetings when he informed Attorney Loughman and investigators the search committee never met. To his credit, he did inform investigators the screening committee never sealed any of their meeting minutes. Botterman alone bears this lie.

When Botterman lied by falsely claiming the 2015 screening committee voted to seal their meeting minutes, she implicated everyone who served on that committee in her lie. She implicated Abby Hatfield, Anna Davenport, Sean Pine, Greg Thayer, Wendy Monroe, Tom Jennings, and others.
When Botterman lied stating the search committee never met, she implicated ClayMitchell, Craig Dionne, Arlon Chaffee, Kim Shelton, and Al Zink in her lie. Each of these individuals did meet on November 5th through the 8th of November, 2015.

Of course, Nadeau, Loughman, Givens, Shelton, and many more share in the illegal, unethical, and immoral acts concerning these reprehensible actions. Each of these individuals owed Newmarket and the courts to investigate the truth. Everyone knew Botterman and Zink were lying, yet they failed to step up and stop the lies and crimes from permeating our courts with all of the harm that came along with it.

I will be writing about these crimes committed by Newmarket until these bums are held legally accountable for their actions. This you may all count on.
