Free Academic Skills/ High School Equivalency Classes Start Soon
Exeter Adult Education academic skills and High School Equivalency preparation classes for adults will begin on Monday, September 12, 2022.

The Fall session of academic skills and High School Equivalency preparation classes for adults will begin on Monday, September 12, 2022. Academic skills classes are for adults who did not complete high school or who need to improve reading, writing, or math skills for personal or professional growth.
Adult Academic Skills and HiSET Preparation Day classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Evening classes meet on Monday and Thursday from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m NEW students need to register by appointment. Please call our office at 603-775-8457 to schedule a registration appointment before the first day of class.
Some people come to school because they need a high school equivalency or other certification to get a job or to prepare for job training or college. Others want to be able to help their own children but need to improve their own skills first. Whatever the reason, it’s not too late, and Exeter Adult Education staff can help each step of the way.

HiSET® (High School Equivalency Test) has replaced the GED in NH and many other states. Like the GED, it provides an opportunity to study for and earn a New Hampshire high school equivalency certificate. Exeter Adult Education is a HiSET® Testing Center.
