Free English-ESL Classes for Adults

Exeter Adult Education welcomes non-native speakers of English to join the FREE English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL) classes. Beginner through advanced English language learners can improve their English speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation skills. Multiple levels of in person and remote instruction are offered. Participation in ESL classes provides a wonderful opportunity to meet other adults from around the world and to make new friends.

ESL classes are held at Exeter Adult Education at the Tuck Learning Campus, Entrance D, 30 Linden Street, Exeter. Day classes are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Additional instruction in reading or technology meets from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Evening classes meet Monday and Thursday from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Registration is ongoing until classes fill up.

ESL class placement is determined by an intake assessment, so all prospective students should call now to schedule a registration appointment. Classes are free!
