Fremont Teen Dies in Route 101 Crash
Motor vehicle accident last night took the life of Jessica McCassie.

A local woman who was killed last night in a car accident on Route 101 in Candia has been identified by New Hampshire State Police, according to a press statement.
Jessica McCassie, 19, of Fremont, was killed in the crash after striking a guardrail and being ejected from her 2013 Mazda 3.
According to state police, at around 6 p.m. on June 7, 2015, troopers received a report about a rollover on Route 101 East in Candia. The vehicle, according to an investigation, crossed over two lanes of travel and rolled over the center median. McCassie was the only occupant of the vehicle. She was transported to Elliot Hospital in Manchester with life-threatening injuries and later, passed away in the ICU.

State Police closed down a single westbound lane for about an hour and a half. Candia and Auburn Police Departments as well as Candia Fire-Rescue and A.M.R. Ambulance personnel assisted troopers at the scene.
The incident as to the cause of the crash is still under investigation and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to contact Trooper Matheus Candido from the New Hampshire State Police – Troop A at 603-223-8827.

According to McCassie’s Facebook site, she was enrolled at NHTI in Concord and was also previously a resident of Milton.
