Get Ready to Vote on Tuesday, Exeter

There are no contested races but voters will eye a town operating budget of $22.9M,

EXETER, NH - Voters in Exeter will go to the polls on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, to vote on a number of proposals including town and school budgets and uncontested races.

Town voters will consider whether or not to approve a $22,952,839 town operating budget and a $49.9 million wastewater treatment facility. A default budget of $22,679,532 will be approved of the proposed $22.9 million budget is rejected.

For the school side of the budget, voters will decide to spend $5.4 million to renovate and add to the Main Street School in order to provide space for full-day kindergarten. Voters will also decide on a $17,135,355 school operating budget or a $17,141,599 default school operating budget.
