Get Your Dirt On! Vegetable Gardening Made Easy

Free lecture at the Paul Memorial Library in Newfields on Wednesday, April 22 (Earth Day) at 7:00 pm

Our speaker will be Amy Antonucci, permaculturist, organic gardener and lecturer.

Come learn about growing your own vegetables here in NH. Soil building organically, crops to plant, smart water use, using vertical space and weed-less gardening will be discussed. How to get more enjoyment and veggies from your garden with less work is the goal. Whether you are starting your first garden or are a seasoned grower, we will have tips and techniques to help you be more successful. There will also be time for questions so bring yours!

Growing your own vegetables is a low-cost way to insure you are eating higher quality food with less negative impacts on the environment than what you get at the store. And it is so satisfying and fun!

Amy worked in organic agriculture for over ten years and now co-owns a permaculturally managed homestead in Barrington NH. She is a certified permaculture designer, and keeps bees, poultry and dairy goats. She especially loves her gardens and helping others learn to grow food for themselves!
