Great Bay Charter School Celebrates School Choice Week

Students in Grades 6-12 Attend Exeter Charter School

EXETER__Students at Great Bay Charter School in Exeter celebrated National School Choice Week during the week of January 24th.

National School Choice Week was founded in 2011 and aims to shines a spotlight on effective education options for children along with the importance of parents being able to choose a school that is the right fit for their child. As a not-for-profit effort, NSCW focus equally on traditional public, charter, magnet, online, private, and home education options.

Great Bay Charter School is a project-based school in Exeter that serves students in grades 6-12. As a public charter school, GBCS is a tuition-free alternative to larger, traditional public schools, and is open to students from throughout New Hampshire. Students from 27 towns currently attend the school, which offers small class sizes and personalized learning. The school has 146 students with the majority residents of the towns in SAU 16.
