Great Bay Kids' Company Coming to Epping Road

The new facility in Exeter should be completed by the fall of this year.

Great Bay Kids’ Company (GBKC), a local non-profit child-care provider, has finalized the purchase of the site of its new facility on Epping Road in Exeter and is preparing to break ground on their 14,000 square foot facility in January 2015. Over the past few months, Great Bay Kids’ Company has worked closely with the Exeter Planning Board and the Town Planner to obtain the necessary approvals and permits required to construct the facility.

“This is a new day for the agency - a really exciting stage in our growth,” said Mark Paige, GBKC Chair of the Board of Directors and Professor of Public Policy & Education Law, UMASS Dartmouth. “We have a forty year history in Exeter and we are pleased that we are firmly rooting ourselves here for decades to come,” he added.

“We’ve now dotted all I’s and crossed all the T’s. This project is shovel ready,” said Meg Bateman, Secretary of the GBKC Board of Directors and corporate attorney with the McLane Law Firm in Manchester. The new facility will be completed by fall 2015.
